Our Process
Step 1
Make the call
You will always speak to a live person who understands how hard it is to take that first step. We offer primary and relapse addiction treatment in addition to a specialized track for First Responder Addiction Treatment.
Step 2
Confirm Insurance
A member of the Harbor of Grace staff will gather some basic demographic information and details on any health insurance coverage you may have. We’ll also want to learn more about you or your loved one and why you are considering addiction treatment for substance abuse. We will take as much time as you need to tell you about the Harbor of Grace experience and what you can expect.
Step 3
Information Gathering
We will immediately contact your insurance company to verify benefits and call you back promptly to discuss what, if any, your financial responsibility for treatment will be. After gathering some additional information about your personal, medical and substance use history, we will recommend the level of care that is best suited for your unique needs.
Step 4
coordinate transportation
Once all of your questions have been answered, we will schedule your arrival at Harbor of Grace Enhanced Recovery Center. If you are joining us from another treatment facility, we will coordinate transportation directly with that facility on your behalf. You have done the heavy lifting simply by committing to the next step on your recovery journey. The least we can do is make that as easy as possible. If a family member is bringing you to Havre de Grace or if we need to pick you up at home, at the train station, or at the airport, we will make it happen.
