SUPERVISOR’S TITLE: CA Supervisor

WORK SCHEDULE: Monday through Sunday, 07:00 ot 15:00 – “Day Shift; 15:00 – 23:00 –
“Evening Shift”; 23:00 – 07:00 – “Night Shift”

SUMMARY OF POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the supervision of the CA Supervisor, the Clinical Aide is in direct contact with the patient community. The CA provides transportation and direct supervision of patient activities. The CA assists with front desk and office duties and other duties as assigned by the CA Supervisor

ESSENTIAL DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Answering phones while on duty at Clinical Services Building
• Assisting Supervisor and Clinical Supervisor with various tasks and assignments
• Maintaining a clean work environment
• Providing transportation for patients to and from residence or to any destination as instructed by Supervisor
• Escorting patients to 12-step meetings in a mentoring capacity
• Chair 12-step lectures and recovery workshops
• Managing patient population in residential units by providing 24-hour accountability and mentorship
• Serving on various committees as assigned by Supervisor
• Providing new patient orientation which includes review of house rules and program schedule with patient
• Each CA will be required at one time or another to work all three shifts (at various times) as
  determined by the Supervisor
• Search patient luggage (for unapproved items) upon arrival and during visitation
• Random security and contraband checks of patient rooms as determined by Supervisor

LEVEL OF EDUCATION/TRAINING/QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school graduate
• Driver’s license- CA must have a valid driver’s license and be able to provide a certified driving record from MVA. CAs agree to allow Harbor of Grace Enhanced Recovery Center, LLC (HoG) to obtain a MD driving record. Employee’s driving record must be acceptable according to HoG Insurance Carrier to be a Company Driver.Al CAs must also be available to be a Company Driver as determined by Supervisor.
• CAs must be at least 21 years of age at time of hire due to insurance requirements for driving times

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION/LICENSE: Valid Driver’s License

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Work is performed in an office or other environmentally controlled room; Work exposes incumbent to contagious or infectious diseases; Work may expose incumbent to dangerous and volatile situations; which could result in bodily injury.
