Officer involved shootings

This unique program provides an officer that was involved in a shooting a non-judgmental, confidential environment, where he or she can process the event and connect with other officers who have experienced similar shootings. We help individuals process traumatic events while learning about acute stress responses and building healthy coping strategies to manage symptoms and prevent long-term trauma effects. It also focuses on peer connection, restoring pre-trauma functioning for return to work, strengthening support networks, and using evidence-based treatments like EMDR and Brainspotting.
