Al hails from Pittsburgh and came to Baltimore to join the Baltimore Police Department in 1985. His thirty-three-year distinguished career included being awarded the Baltimore Sun Officer of the Year in 1992. This career assignments included Southwestern District as a patrolman until 1992. He was promoted to Sgt. in 2003 and transferred to the Southern District, where he remained until 2008. He was the Patrol and Flex Unit supervisor. From 2008 to 2012, Al served arrest warrants with the Warrant Apprehension Task Force Unit. From 2012-2018, Al served as a supervisor in various units. Al is a great addition to our first responder counselor aide department, and he enjoys working with all our patients.
