Bobby Brown (No not that one!) Bobby was born and raised in Baltimore City and graduated in their public schools in 1984. He joined the Baltimore Police Department in 1991 and retired in 2013 after a 32 year career in law enforcement. Bobby’s career included assignments at the Western, Southern and Central districts and ten years in the Internal Affairs Division. Bobby was an FTO, Peer Support Team Member and trained in Crisis Intervention. He was awarded four Police Commissioner awards, a Unit Citation, three commendations, a distinguished service award, a life-saving award, a Bronze Star for Valor and the Silver Star Award
Bobby married his wife in 1993 and they have five children together.
Bobby was in a police-involved shooting in 2022 towards the end of his career and made the decision to come to The National Law Enforcement Wellness Center at Harbor of Grace to get help processing the shooting. He is an advocate for officers getting help and joined our team immediately after retirement. We are proud to have Bobby as part of our Rapid Response Team.
