Hi, my name is Kara. I received my undergraduate degree from Frostburg State University and my Masters in Social Work from University of Maryland. My work experience includes working at an Intimate Partner/Sexual Assault Center, community mental health, private practice, and the VA hospital. My area of interest is trauma. I am EMDR trained. I enjoy working with Veterans and first responders because after all they have sacrificed I believe they deserve healing. It also speaks to me on a personal level as both my husband and my father are combat Veterans.
