Sue has decades of experience as an artist and teacher across a wide range of mediums. She is an expert basketmaker, beader, jewelry designer, and metalsmith. She was the featured artist for the book “The Fine Art of the Tin Can”. Sue is a commissioned artist for The American Visionary Art Museum, featured Book Artist for “Found Object Art II”, and “Fabulous Woven Jewelry”, and commissioned artist for the Governor of Maryland Art Award. Sue was the Resident Artist & Art Services Coordinator at Father Martin’s Ashley for several years. Sue feels grateful to have helped thousands of courageous folks to rediscover their creative spirit through art therapy while traveling the road to recovery. Sue is an active member of the Cecil County Arts Council.
