Visitation and Mail

At Harbor of Grace Enhanced Recovery Center, we believe that constructive, supportive contact with family during treatment offers both short- and long-term benefits. We set aside Sunday afternoons for family visitation with a few simple guidelines outlined below.

All items brought in for our patients must be left at the Clinical Center on Girard Street to be processed. We will make sure your patient gets them by the end of the day.  Patients are not permitted to receive food, including candy, gum, sweets, beverages, etc. Baby wipes, flushable wipes, linens, pillows and stuffed items are not permitted either.

Please contact Harbor of Grace before mailing packages to ensure that the mailed items are appropriate and will be accepted. All mail and items brought to patients during visitation are subject to search by a staff member. All mail sent to a patient will be opened and examined for drugs and inappropriate messages. Games, playing cards, magazines, and non-recovery reading material is not permitted.

Our goal is to ensure a safe and healthy atmosphere for your visit. We ask that you work with us in implementing this goal and appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Harbor of Grace continues to admit new patients and can take calls 24/7. The health and safety of our patients and staff remains the top priority. As recommended by the CDC, Harbor of Grace has protocols and procedures put in place due to COVID-19, such as thorough pre-screening measures, a COVID-19 medical screening upon arrival, and limiting exposure to those who are not Harbor of Grace staff and patients. Medical Approval will need to be given by Harbor of Grace medical staff for admission. Due to the pandemic, all patient visitation will be suspended until further notice.
